The Jacob Roger Poulin Foundation
Jacob Roger Poulin was a happy, hockey playing four-year-old boy who was destined for greatness. He was an amazingly kind person who always thought the best of everyone and made everyone feel loved.
On April 2nd, 2016, as if out of thin air, Jacob was diagnosed with a medulloblastoma - an aggressive brain tumor that affects only a few hundred children in the United States each year. After bravely fighting for his life for six months, five-year-old Jacob left this world on October 1st, 2016, his father's birthday.
We established the Jacob Roger Poulin Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity, with a number of goals in mind. Our first objective is to build a park in J4cob's memory in Ellington, CT. J4cob's park is going to incorporate some of his favorite things by including an outdoor, deck hockey rink and an American Ninja Warrior influenced playscape. We hope to include something for everyone, "Because EVERYONE Should Get to Play."
