Elizabeth Bartholomew, a neighbor to Jacob and the mother of his best friend, reached out to Kloter Farms Ice Cream Barn to host an ice cream fundraiser for the Poulin family. The event was a huge success in that so many people came out to show their love and support. The line wrapped all the way around the building, with people waiting hours to get their ice cream in honor of Jacob. It was an amazing display of love and support from the most amazingly loving community there is. Between the first "Team Jacob" bracelet sales, a photo booth, face painting, ice cream sales, regular donations and the extreme generosity of the Kloter family, the event raised over $11,000 for the Poulins! The Town of Ellington, with the help of our neighboring towns, is the greatest place to live.
