Enfield Twin Rinks and the Jacob Roger Poulin Foundation present the
JRP 3v3 Hockey Banner-01.png

Monday, February 17th, 2020, was a great day to spend at the rink! Enfield Twin Rinks hosted the third annual JRP 3v3 Hockey Jamboree and Open Skate to benefit the Jacob Roger Poulin Foundation.

33 teams made up of 145 hockey playing kiddos (our most ever!) took to the ice, accompanied by many friends and family who attended the Open Skate as well. The skaters, between ages five to ten years old, played a 3v3-style jamboree. Donning their jamboree jerseys emblazoned with the number 4 across their backs, the little hockey players played their hardest for bragging rights and a jamboree medal. It was an exciting and unique event as the kids got to play four fast-paced games, just under 10 minutes in length each, mixed with skating with their friends and family at the Open Skate. Good sportsmanship and having fun were emphasized because that's how Jacob always played. Today, everyone was on Team J4cob.

Thanks to our sponsors (listed below) and countless volunteers, the jamboree, combined with the open skate, raffle, bake sale, merchandise sales and general donations, raised $8,100! Amazing!

An extremely large thank you to the owners of ETR; without Carol’s direction and support, and the generous donation of the ice time by the owner’s of ETR, this event would not have been possible. Thank you to all of the volunteers that made this event run so smoothly. Finally, a ginormous thank you to all the players and families that attended the second annual JRP 3v3 Jamboree and Open Skate! Your faith in and support of this event made it all possible.   FAQ

 1. What bracket is my player/team?

A: This is really your call, but we are trying to make these teams as fairly matched as possible so that everyone has fun. Some teams may have a game or two scheduled outside of their "bracket", depending on how many teams register to play.

2. Can we have mixed ages on our team?

A: Yes, but please be mindful of skill level and player size comparatively. We want everyone to be safe and have fun. Having said that, 2009 & 2010 players will not be allowed to play on Mite C teams.

3. Can I register my player as an individual, without a team?

A: We would really prefer that every player be registered with a team because finding enough individual players of the same bracket has been very challenging.

4. What age is the Open Skate open to?

A:  All ages! We want everyone to come out and enjoy this day together. Note: Minors need to be accompanied by an adult and have a waiver signed by their parent/guardian.
